Rocky Point or Puerto Penasco is located in the state of Sonora in Mexico. The town originally developed as a fishing town in the early 1930's. However, with a mild year round climate, beautiful beaches, and ideal swimming conditions the town has quickly evolved into a tourist attraction. The town now boasts several resorts, a plethora of dining options ranging from taco stands to 5 star restaurants, and even a championship golf course.
